PALE ALE: Victory Headwaters (Hill Farmstead Edward is amazing but the huge hop character makes it less versatile with food)
HEFEWEIZEN: Weihenstephaner
DUBBEL: St Bernardus, Rochefort or Westmalle (no strong preference)
SAISON: De Glazen Toren Saison D'Erpe-Mere or Saison Dupont
PUMPKIN: no thanks
WILD/SOUR: this covers too much turf maybe Cuvee des Jacobins or Rodenbach
SESSION/LAGER/LOW ABV: again covers too much but damn few decent choices in the USA, maybe De La Senne Taras Boulba @ 4.5% ABV or Surly Bitter Brewer @ 4%. It is sad that good English cask Bitter is rarely available in the U.S. and that American breweries mostly can't or won't make anything decent <5% ABV.

Great call on the Resurgam! We (my tasting group) just did a side-by-side of the first and last batch and this beer has come so far! It's now right near the top of the American Wild heap.
