Is this the glass plus Hennepin, Three Philosophers and something else? I got one a few years back when Gnommegang was the "something else". It was consumed promptly. The other two bottles are in my beer storage. I didn't mean to age either of them I just forgot they were in there. Now I'm interested to see how Three Philosophers will age and the Hennepin isn't my favorite saison so I'm not too worried about whether it holds up to the aging.

I think it's a good purchase for somebody who either likes Belgian-style beer or wants to dabble in the non-hoppy end of craft beer. Belgian beers are good gateways into craft beer. Ommegang is better than a gateway beer IMO but won't scare off the uninitiated either.

Awesome gift and even if they don't get around to it for a few months it'll still be tasty. Samuel Smith gift pack would be good too.

Picked up a few of these last year for $15. Three bottles plus a glass I use every day. 3 Phil, Henn, Choc stout.....Have not cracked the 3 Phils yet but the others were all great. Hope to find these at this price again this year

    Enjoy

Holy crap...if they are fifteen bucks I know what will be under MY tree, never mind gifting them!

Thanks...this sounds like a no brain decision. The person I am thinking if dabbles on the middle level, so this should help up their game a notch.

    Cheers!

I paid $23 for a set last year; Hennepin, Chocolate Indulgence, Three Philosophers and a tulip glass. It was definitely worth it and would make a great gift.

I really liked Boulevard's Smokestack gift box; 4 12oz Smokestack beers and a nice tulip glass.

This year is Three Philosophers, Rare Vos, and a Tripel Perfection plus the glass. At least according to the picture on Facebook.

I am considering buying one even though I have a glass already from last time, just because I want to have some fresh Tripel Perfection again. Three Philosophers and Rare Vos are just a plus because I love both of them anyway.

Great gift set. Wish we would get the St. Bernardus gift sets in Texas again. Those were also great gifts.

I got the silver rimmed chalis with mine. Bought some of the others to make my self feel complete . And yes this is the best one outside of a Westy.

Yes, just bought this gift pack for $24. It included the Rare Vos and Tripel Perfection which I have not had, and the Three Philosophers which I love. All three I plan to share with friends. Also snagged a Samuel Smith gift pack for $10 which has the Nut Brown, Oatmeal Stout, and India Ale along with glass also, what a buy. Merry Beermas to all!

Yes, me too! I loved the tulip, and the beers were pretty darn tasty too. Do you happen to know if they release this each year, or was it a one time thing? I've seen a few still sitting on the shelves around here, but the beers are well over a year past the best-by date :slight_frown:.

Does it come with a glass? I got one years ago and want to get a glass to make it a pair. Maybe I should check their website. I was pretty dumb not to pick up another pack with the same glass long ago. Doesn't come with my favorite Ommegangs but most of them are pretty good.

Good gift.... what beer lover wouldn't want it.

If you don't think it's a worthy gift to someone else, you can always give it to me ;-)

That's the one I got... for myself  I had not had Ommegang so it was my first. I've had Three Philosophers so far, which I thought was very good. I'm sure the others are very good also. Belgian beers really aren't my favorite but they are something I like to have every once in a while just to have something different. The other two probably will be gone by New Year's Day.

What does the glass look like? Is it a tall tulip with the Ommegang lion on one side and "Brewing is an art, partaking is passion" on the other side. Top in Gold as well as all the writing on the glass? I really want to get another. I only bought one gift pack long ago. Wondering if these have the same glass. I was an idiot at the time. Free glassware is nice.

Anybody have a picture of the gift pack? I'll look on the website.
