Leaving out their Bourbon County Stouts and Barleywines (we know they are all world class), what's your favorite beer from them? My two favorites are Red Felt Ale, and there EIPA. Yankee Stadium now serves the EIPA on tap. Awesome... :grinning:

Sofie Paradisi, even over all the bourbon county offerings.

King Henry is a barleywine. Very, very good. But doesn't count. Beers other than their stouts and barleywines. King Henry is world class, no doubt.

Out of what I've tried so far, this. Wish it came bottled.

Honker's Ale, and it's not even close.

And that includes their stouts and barleywines.

Honestly just prefer the Honker's Ale the most. Sofie, close second.

Never tried Honkers. Looks like a light beer. What about Matilda? The bottle I tried must've been infected. Just awful. Although the reviews reflect a very good beer.

I really wish you would quit posting these pictures every time you post. I work at home and when you post, I get thirsty. I can't really drink while I work. So, I drool. I am distracted. I look at the clock hoping to get to the end of my day so I can have a beer. It's your fault for making me thirsty, distracting me, and otherwise helping my obsession that might send me into an abyss of unemployment.   haha. (J/k, obviously).

Oh, I like the Goose Island Green Line Pale Ale. It's just a nice, enjoyable, simple Pale Ale and I enjoy it. Notably with a nice steak, pork chops, or other good protein. It's a good refreshing beer and I like it a lot.

The India Pale Ale is my go to from Goose Island. It's a solid damn good brew.

Damn, I wish I had some of these offerings available in NY. We are limited, and cannot find these beers on tap in NYC. Honkers, EIPA, 312, Sophie, are all readily available. Some days, I wish I lived in Chicago!

Tried Sofie at a bar the other night and loved it. Went to buy and had heart attack at price. Bought 765ml for $8.50. Added a bottle of Matilda. Its Thanksgiving after all. Tried Matilda today. Waste of money. Nothing special. Clean beer nothing stands out. Would probably appeal to a bud light etc beer drinker venturing into real beer for the first time. But they would never buy because a can of that sweet muck is less than $1. Marketing department having a good laugh at us mugs buying a beer from USA at this price. I'll post about Sofie when I try it tomorrow.

Matilda really needs some age on it (pretty much like Sofie). It goes from Ordinary to Special, and even bypasses a level or two in the process .

I agree with you for the most part, but I like Sofie and Matilda fresh as well, though.
