Favorite green bottled beer

    Ballantine XXX
    Pilsner Urquell
    Stella Artois
    Becks

    I know that there are sours in green bottles, but I just can't stomach them. Literally...

    What are yours?

    I don't usually think about beer in terms of bottle color, except for a tendency to avoid purchasing beer in green bottles (or green beer), but your list reminds that this great beer omes in a green bottle: Chouffe Houblon Dobbelen IPA Tripel

    I purchased an un-opened case of Jever that was not exposed to the sun and the taste was MUCH better than the casual six pack of Jever on the shelf. My favorite pilsner by far. I enjoyed it more than Prima Pils.

    I've yet to have skunked Dupont, but I understand that's somewhat in the minority.

    I've never bought Jever by the case before, but I should because it's my go-to German pils (I came into this thread to mention it) and I'd like to find out what I've been missing.

    I was impressed by Pilsner Urquell's improvement now that they've switched to brown bottles.

    To the contrary. ...I love Dupont that is a bit skunked if you will. Not sure why but I love that shit. Brown bottle Dupont....not as good. IMO.

    Can not possibly remember the last beer I bought in a green bottle. Maybe a Lindemands Framboise to convince someone that that they didn't hate beer.

    I have only had a couple beers in a green bottle that I didn't absolutely despise and that would be Grolsch (in the green swing top bottle) and Stella Artois. They both taste pretty good when served ice cold but I can't say that I would go out of my way to buy them unless there was a good sale.

    Never had a skunk issue with Stella Artois, Moosehead, or Lowenbrau.
