Do they date beers? I thought they did but couldn't find it last time I was in Wisconsin where they are distributed..

It is rarely brewed there because originally there was a C&D issued from Stone, but they worked it out and it rotates. Brewed at Stone, then at Green Flash, then Stone.....you get the idea. It's a real delight.

It's hard to choose. I overlooked Green Flash for well over a year when one day I just broke down and bought West Coast IPA. I was blown away. I followed it up with Hop Head Red, Double Stout, then Palate Wrecker all probably within the same week. Since then, I've tried every offering available to me, and yet to find a brew I don't like ( though Rayon Vert did piss me off a little considering it poured nothing but foam). In all, I think GF is pretty darn solid, but Palate Wrecker probably has my vote for best brew.

Of the regular line-up, my favorite is Imperial IPA. Of their special releases, Black Freak or Silva Stout.

    This is incorrect.

Ruination is a Stone beer and has never been brewed by anyone other than Stone. You might be thinking of Palate Wrecker, which is a Green Flash beer with a somewhat similar name (Ruination ruins your palate, Palate Wrecker wrecks your palate). Stone has never issued Green Flash a C&D (in fact, the owners of both companies know each other and get along). These are two separate beers. Green Flash has never brewed a beer called Ruination.

    Someone gave you bad information.

Before the current black labels, Double Stout had green labels. I have one bottle left with the green label from a case I purchased that was bottled Feb 18 2011 (just checked). So its obviously older than that.

Palate Wrecker is #1, followed closely by Imperial IPA. Love me some Green Flash. Right now I'm lamenting the fact that I haven't come across any of the Hop Odyssey series brews thus far.

Easily Silva Stout. I had this side-by-side with '10 Stone BBA Imperial Russian Stout. They were both amazing.

Would like to try green bullet, but my favorite is still west coast IPA, closely followed by double stout
