Favorite Hometown Brew?

I realized I never answered this thread. I moved away from my hometown (Wilkes-Barre, PA...same as TS) 2 years ago before I got into craft beer so I do not have a full scope the area's beers. But of the handful I've had, I would have to say Susquehanna Brewing Company's Goldencold Lager would be my favorite. If they marketed Hopfive IPA as a pale ale (which is more of what I think it is...a hopped up pale), then that would be my pick. But as an IPA, it's too mild.

In my current city of Pittsburgh, PA, Helltown's Idle Hands DIPA is the best I've had locally. It is as good as just about any IPA I've had when it's on. Consistency is an issue though.

This time of year in Chippewa Falls there is none finer than Birch Island's Oktoberfest.

I live 20 minutes from the Bruery. I think my favorite from them so far is Grey Monday and Oude Tart with Cherries.

Closest to me is Emmett's (4 miles away) as well. However, my favorite brew from a nearby brewery is Two Brother's Sidekick Extra Pale Ale (20 miles away)...but...I love some of the Pipeworks Brews as well, however, that's about 35-40 miles from where I'm located.

 

Adirondack Brewery - Iroquois Pale Ale

 

We have a small brewery in my town (maybe 20,000 people) in a Natty Light region. Anyway, they recently tapped a Belgium Dark that I enjoy! Way to go Twisted Crew Brewing Company!
