    I'd have to say Mac and Jacks African Amber... While not the best nor the one I'd share with a fellow beer geek - it represents craft beer for Seattle to me in many ways. Definitely a gateway brew for me to get deep into craft many years ago.

    Im south of boston and i think the closest breweries to me are mayflower in plymouth and bog iron which is in norton. Unfortunately i have not tried either as im waiting to go right to the source and have them from the brewery first.

    I think its my destiny to open up a brewery in my town. So ill let everyone know once my opinion changes. :stuck_out_tongue:

    So for now ill stick with Jacks Abby Hoponious union.

    Right now... Wiseacre's Oktoberfest is killing it. Looking forward to their Gotta get up to get down. Especially the one they've aged in wild turkey barrels for a year....

    Other notables are...
    High cotton ESB and Scottish ale.
    Memphis made soulful ginger
    Ghost river is starting to make a resurgence too. Happy they can focus on something other than the fedex forum.

    Born in Sacramento CA and thanks to the USAF I lived in Fairfield/Vacaville CA for 11 years and basically consider that area my hometown at this point. That being said, Heretic Brewing in Fairfield is doing great things, most recently collaborating with Stone on their unapologetic IPA. Their evil cousin IPA and incubus BA imperial stout are stellar.
