Taras Boulba might be mine. What other beers strike that ethereal balance of light continental pils malt character, balanced Belgian yeast esters and crisp hop flavor and aroma?

I picked up Gnomegang yesterday, amongst other things. Don't know if it is hoppy, but will report back with enthusiasm.

    My ‘vote’:

    “Ommegang Fleur de Houblon

Nothing is more evocative of summer than the beautiful aroma of flowers, and the favored flowers of brewers are hops. Our brand new summer ale, Fleur de Houblon (Hop Flowers), is brewed to bring the many elements of summer into a refreshing and easy-to-drink Belgian-style ale.

Fleur de Houblon is a rich gold color with distinct floral hops in the aroma that follow through in the taste. Whole-cone Bravo hops are used to impart their earthy, fruity, and floral aromas and flavors. The body and flavor are clean and dry, with pleasing complexity and spicy notes from both primary and secondary fermentation with our unique Ommegang house yeast.

Available for a limited time in 1/2 BBLs and 12oz bottles every summer.

    6.8% ABV”

    Cheers!

Not a style that gets much love, it this? De Ranke XX Bitter is another good one. Societe The Harlot as well. I wold even throw Russian River Redemption in there with just enough hops to stick out, and maybe even Westvleteren Blond.

I enjoyed the sierra/Russian River collaboration from beer camp across america. Obviously not available now but that was a good example of the style I believe

That was a very tasty one, which was brewed with a nod to Brasserie del la Senne and Taras Boulba if I recall correctly.

Kind of cheating because it's a saison, but Dupont Cuvee Dry Hopping for me.

Ok Idk if this constitutes for you but I just had Hopster by New Glarus the other day and I thought it was excellent. Very refreshing. Some yeast funk and spice. Drank like a slightly happy berliner Weiss to me.

I would say that Saison Dupont actually falls into this style as well and that saison and Belgian blonde actually overlap as styles though they also have examples that are clearly not the same.

It's a tie between De Ranke XX Bitter and Houblon Chouffe

I like your taste and agree with your choices.
De la Senne beers are great in this department.
I'd add Brouwers Verzet Super Noah, Brouwerij Van Eecke Poperings Hommel Bier, and the beers of Brasserie de Cazeau. There are much hoppier Belgian blondes, but I like the above.

I like Belgian blondes whether they are standing still or jumping around... Though jumping around is admittedly more fun to watch.

Definitely giving the nod to Houblon Chouffe.
