Yeah, I think its how they are used. A buddy of mine just made an interesting Cascade dry hopped wheat beer that was very juicy sweet and not bitter at all like many Cascade brews. I think its in the process.

I love when breweries brew the exact same beer with different hops.

I got to try Hopcat Light Side of the Sun, one with Mosaic vs one with Simcoe at the MI summer beer fest a few weeks back.

The Simcoe version wasn't even close to how good the Mosaic version was.

I wish we saw more breweries do this.

Big surprise, Citra and Mosaic.. Would have to agree with anyone else who has said it, Nelson Sauvin is a favorite for me. Unique and vinous

For the most part I have no idea what hops are in the beers I love, other than when they're part (or all) of the name, but these are some of my favorites:
    Blind Pig
    Pliny
    Alpine Hoppy Birthday
    Alpine Nelson
    Hop Stoopid
    Sucks
    Enjoy By
Any common hop found in all/most of those? Should probably just take out Nelson since I don't think nelson hops are in any of the others, but it is probably overall my favorite flavor/aroma (especially aroma)... do any other hops resemble nelson?

What hops are in Hop Nosh, Heady, and Two Hearted? I feel like they all had a similar flavor that I'm not a fan of. Would be interesting if there's just a type I'm not into, or if it's totally unrelated to hops and just has everything to do other factors.

Cascade. Not because it's the most trendy, because without this hop and Sierra Nevada Pale ale BA would probably not exist.

Mosaic with citra a close second...I always get a note of blueberry with mosaic single hopped beers...I think citra and mosaic have almost the same profile besides that so I consider the mosaic hop as "citra plus blueberry"

I'm still fuzzy about individual hop flavors, but I picked Citra because nearly IPA I love has Citra in it.
Aroma-wise, my favorite IPA is currently Stone Ruination 2.0. That dank passionfruit-pineapple thing going on is insane.
I'm not sure what hops Sculpin uses, but I love that peach/mango/pineapple flavor.
I nearly picked Centennial, though, because Two Hearted Ale is one of my all-time favorite beers. So freaking delicious. It hits the spot every time.

And now my mouth is watering...

Nelson is too important of a hop to be in other IMO. Cascade is more of an APA hop anyway, and Columbus is used for bittering mostly.

I think Nelson has been around longer than Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic. It must be more popular here on the west coast. I honestly don't know much about VT distro to give you a recommendation.
