Favorite "IPA hop" poll

Citra, 2014 Nelson, and 2015 Mosaic. Yes, years matter.

 

Nelson sauvin is my faveorite for right now. So good in a sour.

 

I've founf Centennial a consistent favorite. But, also like me the Amarillo, Cascade, Chinook, Citra & Simcoe are all there too, Mosaic, only as part of the mix. Nelson, no thank you.

 

Love Galaxy, with Citra being a close second.

PS: Mosaic sucks ass.

 

I chose Galaxy because my favorite seasonal IPA, Schlafly Tasmanian IPA showcases it quite well. But there's so many great hops out there it's hard to pick just one.

 

Had to go Mosaic, but Citra was a very close second. Love me some Galaxy and Nelson as well.

 

I can't believe it's not more popular; Apollo. Early in the boil, super clean hop. Late in the boil...well, it's the only hop where I've seen cannabis in a commercial description of a hop. By far the most dank hop I've ever encountered.

 

I think I like Cascade, Crystal, and Citra the most, maybe a little Simcoe action too, but I don't know for sure. I can tell you that I like Columbus IPA/APA, Crystal Hero, Mosaic by Rhinegeist, Two Hearted, Fist City, Torpedo, SNPA, Zombie Dust, Fresh Squeezed, Head Hunter, and Anti-Hero. These are some of my favorite IPAs/APAs that I've tried.

I gave Galaxy the edge here but Mosaic is a very close runner-up for me

 

Centennial isn't my all around favorite but lately I've been using it a lot in beers and loving it!!!!!!!!!!! I recently made two single hop centennial IPAs and dry hopped with them...absolutely loved them.

 

Whatever is piney. And I don't have a clue which hop that is.

 

Galaxy all the way. I love the very juicy passion fruit flavors in my ipa's.

 

Tough call but if I had to pick one it would be Citra.

To choose just one I'll go with Galaxy as well but that opinion is subject to change.
