Surly Abrasive Ale. Hurts the pocketbook a bit. About $4 a 16oz can. There is worse. Come to think of it I need an Abrasive run!

 

Carton is about 70 miles from me. An hour away. Id pick Boat but to be on topic...


Pinelands Brewing Company- Clamtown Blonde

They are 4 miles from me. Its the only beer ive had from them but its one of the best blonde ales ive ever had. Its like a kolsch and a hefe blended. Its awesome

 

That being said my favorites right now are Second Fiddle, Focal Banger and Foley Brother's Prospect.

 

Tired Hands Alien Church. Brewed maybe 15 minutes away (on foot).

 

JP Pilsner at the local Brew Pub, Trap Rock.

 

Henniker Brewing is about 11 miles from me and they've got a new American pale ale this year called Miles & Miles. It's currently on tap in my kegerator and it smells soooo juicy right after it's poured... So glad this is so close to me!

 

WEST Hefeweizen probably. Was cracking this last year

 

My new Hometown favourite is a recently released beer: Maybee Workhorse IPA (Fredericton, New Brunswick)

 

Trillium (20 miles from home, 2 blocks from my office) Artaic
Jack's Abby (4 miles from home) BA Coffee Framinghammer

 

Bayou Teche Miel Sauvage.

 

Jackie Os Oro Negro. Although not currently on tap, it has been more often in the last year at the taproom.

 

Just a touch over 25 miles to Winston-Salem, but Foothills Jade fits the bill. Always good!

 

My favorite local is Ithaca Beer's Flower Power and their yearly case The Box of Hops!
