Iron Hill Mr. Roboto IPA. Sadly only got one pint. Sorachi Ace IPA with a coconut aftertaste, it's what I had wanted from Stone's R&R.

A few other people have mentioned it, but Kuhnhenn DRIPA has to be at the top of this list. Such an amazing beer. Luckily, I'm not to far from the source!

 

Abandon Brewing in Penn Yan. Just opened up last fall, and are quickly becoming one of my favorites in the area. Draft only at the moment, though.

 

Free State's Old Backus barleywine. They should bottle it in those little nip bottles or something.

I know this will be unpopular, due to the hate they have been receiving (somewhat fairly) over the former brewer fiasco, but...I would nominate Blue Lobster into the mix. Gold Claw Pale Ale is quite simply the best pale ale I've ever had, and their other non-bottled offerings are fantastic as well.

 

Marshall: This Machine Belgian IPA & would say their pub ale is so good on cask it only faintly resembles the bottled iteration.

Maybe they can't meet demand. But their best beers rarely make it to Manhattan, anyone who has their stuff in Manhattan but never has been to brewery is missing out on good stuff. I would imagine if they got Higher Standard for example to Manhattan, it would pique people's interest and generate trips up to brewery. Eastern Standard is around NYC frequently, if that was only Peekskill beer I ever had would not get me too enthused for a trip north if I didn't know the better stuff they have at brewery.

 

they did a tap takeover at stag's head before I knew anything about them. on a whim I ordered a flight thinking "how bad could they be?" and loved every beer. stayed late and got flight of the rest of what they brought and liked just as much. Hoping they succeed and expand
