Fremont has always checked a number of boxes for me and has given me no cause to drop them from my top spot since they first won my over shortly after they opened.

Though I consider myself to be pretty lucky to have a plethora of fantastic options available at various levels of local

As far as all around offerings go, my choice is Kern River Brewing Company. Not because of the hype of their most sought after beer (Citra), but because they are truly a home grown operation. I respect and admire watching local folks live the American dream by turning a once garage bound home brew operation into a well respected brewery making awesome beers!

If "local" includes breweries that are a few hours away, SARA. Otherwise, the Rare Barrel.

Favorite local for me would be White Birch Brewing, in Hooksett, NH. They make a wide range of beers and have a great lineup of smokey beers.

Three's Brewing and Other Half are both within walking distance here in Brooklyn. Finback and SingleCut are local too if I feel like venturing into Queens. Good times in the Boroughs

It's hard to beat Other Half for IPAs and their derivatives, but the left field brews from Barrier bring me more enjoyment.

Intracoastal Brewing Company, Always something great on tap and its only five minutes away from home. A little further away, two hours to be exact it would be Cigar City Brewing.

Met Jack the other day and they have some great stuff in the works. Everyone is friendly and the beer is delicious! My favorites include the BA Framinghammers, Baby Maker/Bride Maker, Mass Rising/HopU, and most recently their Sour Barrel Project 2. Great news is they are expanding later this year!

NJ: I will say Carton and Kane also but I have to mention the 6 month old Spellbound Brewing. Really impressed with these guys.

I was at the first two birthday parties and I had Framinghammer Bourbon barrel from the cask at the first birthday- incredible. Great staff, dedicated brewers. I was going to go to the brewery on Saturday, but decided to put it off. Need to get some fresh Framinghammer.

Their beers are excellent. Haven't tried the Sour Barrel- will look for it.
They are the in the front lines for brewing craft lagers.

I would say AZ Wilderness here, followed very closely by Fate. Those guys are turning out amazing beers. Of course I have been hearing great things about The Beer Research Institute but have not gotten there yet. The beer scene in the Phoenix metro area has been exploding in the last year. Lots of new places opening all the time. The entire State is quickly developing into a mini beer Mecca. Cant wait to see what happens next.

Trillium will move to Canton, MA- making it more accessible. Excellent, difficult beers to find- especially the
    Congress st IPA.
