Got it, thanks! Has the base ever been released, or is it made solely for BP?

BLDG8 has seen some limited distribution to the beer stores in the Northampton area. Hopefully their footprint expands soon--it's such a great addition to the MA beer scene!

Don't think so. We sort of dance around the base a bit tweaking variables, swapping in and out different grains, etc.

Yup! The 87 canning starts in December. Got a bit delayed due to the Crown canning fiasco but they are coming. First few runs will have to be shrink sleeved but the printed cans are coming late December/Early Jan.

Haha. Of course its biased but can't help be excited about the move to this format and the latest tweaks to the recipe.

We are hoping to start canning a rotating series of One Hop This Time next year. Vics Secret will be one of them!

I wouldn't be upset if that 9/23 batch of morph became a regular can. I liked it more than Santilli (and I like the Santilli a lot!). Is that how the morph series works? I know santilli came from a morph recipe...

Yes, somewhat. Morph series was born out of not having hop contracts to produce a year round IPA. But allowed us to brew the best IPA with whatever hops we could get our hands on. It also had the not so secret mission of crowd sourcing our flagship IPA which is how Santilli was born. We are going to continue the Morph series about once a month going forward and soon be moving it to 16oz cans. If a batch gets enough love, we will try our best to get it in a regular rotation! The 9/23 batch used Galaxy which we very rarely get any of but if we could get hundreds of lbs of it we would brew that batch again.

New 60bbl tanks came in today that will be used for increasing our canned beer lineup/availability!
