See if you can't find a Creme Brulee with a year on it. Do it! It's still sweet, but much more manageable. I haven't had many Milk Stouts but probably either Carton of Milk from Carton Brewing or Terrapin Moo-hoo

    Sammy Smith
Creme Brulee (hint--let it sit in your cellar for a while and the sweetness mellows out the beer)

Moat Water - Found this sitting on shelves on Naples, FL about a year ago, bought a couple, and as soon as I drank one... I drank them all.

Moloko - I trade for this every year.

Cafe Royale - Drinking one right now. It's barrel aged so tough to compare to the other two, but this beer is ridiculously good.

A good one that I have had recently is Westbrook Udderly Milk stout. I would love to try Moat Water and Moloko. Both are from great breweries. Also like Left Hand and Moo Hoo.

I'm going to have to go with Left Hand Milk Stout on nitro, but only because there are not a lot of milk stouts available around here.

Delicious, but if you mix this 3 parts Chocolate Stout with 1 part Organic Cherry it tastes exactly like chocolate covered cherries.

Ditto on the Westbrook Udderly. I would like to try this one with a nitro treatment (it already features oatmeal in addition to lactose).

Against the Grain 35K is an awesome milk stout. Also, 70K is the imperial version which is even better!

Mackeson XXX is back in the US, in a version brewed by Carib in Trinidad, imported by DCI Miami. (See Carib's website for US distributors).

Now an AB-InBev-owned brand, it had previously been imported from the UK by Royal Imports (pre-InBev's purchase of Whitbread). Royal was spun-off of Hudepohl-Schoenling when that brewing company went out of business in the 90s. Eventually Royal had it brewed under license in the US by Boston Beer Co. (which had bought H-S's brewery in Cincinnati) and by The Lion in Wilkes-Barre, PA. That deal ended (apparently InBev wouldn't renew the contract) - coincidentally around the same time InBev bought AB.

It appears there is (or about to be) also a current draught version brewed by Florida Brewing/Indian River Brewing - keg label approved late last month.
