Thanks for the suggestion, but it would be $29 plus $35 shipping for a mixed 4 pack, unfortunately.

My initial experiences went toward strong cat piss. Kinda jaded me on Nelson for a few years.

I've found that my favorite beers using Nelson aren't super hoppy. Had a pint of a dry-hopped Kolsch with Nelson at a a brewery a few years ago, (somewhere in Michigan, I don't remember specifics, it was a busy day of brewery hopping along Lake Michigan), and it was exactly what I wanted out of a beer at that moment.

The latest TH Nelson beers are very good- of the milky/saturated tropical variety. Personally I think the hop shines more when presented via west coast IPA style less all the esters and sweetness.

Bumping my own thread here - the latest Nelson IPA from HF a nice showcase for the hop. Anybody run in to any new Nelson brews lately ??

You def gotta buy more than 4 cans to make it worth your monies. I usually get 20-25 cans when ordering from them at about 60-70$ shipping cost.

Interesting Nelson topic brewer quote from IG a few moments ago - John Kimmish in his review today of his latest Skadooosh batch said this of Nelson hops : “it always has to be tempered (with other hops) or else it’s just a little bit gross”. My palate doesn’t agree but I definitely have friends and beer acquaintances that have expressed similar opinions.
