Copperpoint 'A10 Hop Hog' is one of the best beers they make!

I think they look different especially side by side, Torpedo is more brown/orange than red to me; I found some regular photos for comparison purposes:

Oh yeah this was a good one! I'd also throw Troegs Nugget Nectar out there since it's an "Imperial Amber" and definitely has that reddish hue to it.

I'm not sure if HopBack from Troeg's counts, but either way it's delicious.

I prefer Odell's Runoff Red to Flipside, which I found to have a harsh, vegetal aroma.

Can't say that I've had a red IPA yet but I would like to try one. I've been waiting for the Stone Pataskala Red X IPA to reach South Florida shelves but no luck yet. At this rate it looks like Hopslam Ale is gonna reach me first and I like the sound of that :grinning:

Clown Shoes Evil Crawfish was awesome! Not only a very tasty brew, but the story behind the name is classic.

I've been enjoying Six String Dark Red IPA quite a bit lately. From their website:

    Dark Red IPA
It’s not red. Or is it? What at first seems like another easy classification as a black IPA gets mighty confused when you hold it up to the light because, yes, there’s definitely redness there. And as there would be because the recipe is based very loosely on the West Coast USA style Red Ale, tweaked and nudged until it’s arguably become Six String’s signature beer. The red colour here comes from rich caramel and chocolate malts, which also give off a contrasting creamy white head. Once you’ve stopped looking at it and get it close to your face, you’ll get the hops, hops, hops. They’ve been added late in the brewing process; at the end of the boil, in the whirlpool and dry hopping during fermentation. Yet, despite the heavy hopping regime, between those big malts and the big hops it’s a balanced beer. You could argue it keeps its balance a little too well. At 6 per cent ABV, you might even say it sneaks up on you.

    Style: Red IPA
    Strength: 6.0%

Dawn of the Red, the AleSmith one, and the new Stone one.

Edit: Forgot to include one from Fat Heads I had at GABF that was pretty awesome... Bonehead Red, I think.
