Favorite new Red IPAs

My bad, Evil Twin not Evil Cousin. Cousin is a Double IPA and Twin is a Red IPA.

 

Fat Head's Bonehead Red is the best one I've had and I've had a good chunk of the ones listed here.

 

Let's not forget green flash hop head red. If you can find that stuff fresh it's wonderful. I also just killed a growler of terrapin mosaic red rye ipa that was quite impressive.

I've always enjoyed Roundhouse whenever it's on the tap list at Bell's. Word is that it will be available in cans in the not so distant future.

 

Isn't "imperial amber" synonymous with Red IPA?

If not, what is the difference between the two?

That's a shame. Troegs is one of my go-to breweries. And I don't know for certain where you could find it in Northern NY, but I imagine Albany has it, at least.

Albany for sure gets plenty of Troegs and we just got Nugget Nectar last week in pretty huge quantities.

Not the case for Stone Pataskala Red X IPA which uses as its base malt Best Malz Red X malt.
