Another great part about Wisconsin as a neighbor is the beer distributed there we can't get in MN. Three Floyd's, The Bruery, DFH, Alesmith just to name a few...

Oregon - Hair of the Dog and Deschutes.

Colorado is close second and may soon pass. Osker Blues and Great Divide.

I'D go with being a tired Cliche and pick California if for no other reason than Firestone Walker but close behind is Ballast Point, Modern Times, Belching Beaver, and Stone for the Breweries I've tried and ones I'm still waiting to try are Russian River, Alesmith, Almanac, and a top tier from The Bruery

This question is so easy. I live in Washington State.

Texas, Missouri and Colorado are all good choices but the vast majority of the breweries from any of those states don't distribute in Oklahoma. Throw Kansas in there as well because of Tallgrass. I'll have to go with Missouri though because I drink a hell of a lot more Mother's, Perennial and Boulevard than anything from the TX, KS or CO breweries combined.

Haven't been there yet- they are actually at the mid point between my place and my parents' house, but whenever I am passing by I have the family with me so it really hasn't been an option.

I haven't had Dog's Bullocks yet, but will get it when it's available. It seems like it is a barrel aged barleywine, so who knows, maybe Insanity has some competition after all.

Why is everyone including Sixpoint in NY? I bet the folks picking NY/Sixpoint have never had a single beer from them that was brewed in NY.

And while I am being curmudgeonly, Ca. doesn't border Colorado.

Live in MA so the logical choice would be Vermont, but most of the great beers from VT are not on store shelves here. Therefore, I gotta go with Maine.

Being in a small state has its advantages.

Connecticut has Willimantic Brewing Co and Beer'd within relatively close proximity, but the Hartford and New Haven areas with more options are a longer haul.

So I definitely go with Massachusetts: Tree House, Jack's Abby, Wormtown, Harpoon Beer Hall, Cambridge Brewing Co, and Buzzards Bay among others all within an hour and a half drive. Plus it is a 15 minute drive to the nearest MA package store to get their distro. While DFH pulled out of RI I could easily pick some up there; with DFH back in the fold, now I go over the border to get a case of Troegs Nugget Nectar every year.

I live in Boulder but will skip Utah and Nevada and say California............Lately I allways have various Stone in my 'frig. Green Flash, Firestone and Bear Republic are fine also. Wish we could get Bells and/or New Glarus here. BTW, I grew up in Downingtown, PA when the Victory plant was a Pepperidge Farm bakery, so I appreciate the symmetry of going from excellent cookies as a child to world-class beer as an adult.

Well, gosh. I'm stuck in what you coastal folk call flyover country, so it completely sucks having wisconsin, iowa, indiana and michigan as my beer playground.

I live In Florida, and surprise its NOT my favorite beer state. Too much hoppy beer here, yea CCB is great, but pricey.
St somewhere lost me price wise years ago.

Georgia has some nice beer, but I would vote for North Carolina, If I have to pick one. Really most of what I like come from NE, and Michigan etc. But the bulk of my beer is Now HB.
