I am trying to get in to podcasts and have listened to the Can You Brew It? series, but was looking for something a little less specifically focussed on a single recipe. Thoughts? P.S. I searched for this thread in the past as I swear we've had it before, I guess it dies with the old forum.
The Jamil Show's episdoes that focus on a single style can be pretty handy. The earlier ones are probably more what you're looking for as the later ones are focused around his specific recipe for the given style, but there's plenty of good information there regardless (especially if you're about to work on your own recipe for the same style). Brew Strong covers technical brewing issues rather than styles/recipes, and also has lots of worthwhile information.
While I'll admit to listening to several dozen Jamil Shows I think it's safe to say that if you look at Brewing Classic Styles you can save yourself about an hour. At times they're funny.
Check out the early episodes of the BN's sunday sessions. It will take you a long time to get through them all but theres a ton of good brewing info. Now they don't really focus as much on homebrew info but those old shows are loaded with it. Also, the beersmith podcast can be pretty good.
I enjoy Basic Brewing radio/video quite a bit. There are some very informative and entertaining episodes. It was especially helpful when I first started. I would highly recommend it!
