    Great Lakes Burning River. Was the first good beer I had, so there might be some nostalgia at work. But even so, damn good beer.

    If favoritism is reflected by most consistently ordered/bought and happily devoured, it would have to be Dales. DPA never disappoints.

    Reality of drinking it or what the brewer designates as a Pale Ale, which all IPA's and such are anyway? Do you want to go by ABV comparisons which might give you brackets.

    I just saw that Stone was changing their pale ale recipe, and revisited this thread. I don't see a whole lot of love for it here. While I like it, there are definitely others that I would pass it over for. I guess that explains the switch.

    That being said, I am a huge fan of Alesmith 394. It is almost a toss up between that, Ballast Point Grunion, and Alpine Hoppy Birthday. Honorable mention to Great Lakes Burning River.
