Pale Ales were never my favorite style and most I felt lukewarm about...I enjoyed them, but nothing special. However I started revisiting them and my feelings have completely changed and they seem to be great for when you want some hops, but not an assault like an IPA/DIPA can give. Also, the ABV is typically lower so great for session-ing. This style seems to be making a bit of a comeback, and I am all for it. And another cool thing about PAs is that much like IPAs, each beer can be so different from the next.

Some great choices in this thread and give Sam Adams Crystal Pale Ale a try, I wasn't expecting much at all but was really surprised by it and enjoyed it a lot.

Just had "Da Fuzz" from Pipeworks last week and it was unreal. Also a big fan of Daisy Cutter and Brickstone's APA.
