Pseudosue. Way better than MO and Zombie dust, but those are still good. Also, Daisy Cutter is pretty damn good and I try to get it every time I'm in Illinois.

MO, Alpha King, and PseudoSue have to be my favorites I've ever had, but I can't get any of them in Michigan. Locally, Founder's Pale Ale and Odd Side Citra are my go-to's.

    Deschutes Red Chair.

Odell St. Lupulin if allowing an extra pale ale to land in the pale ale category.

Trillium Fort Point and TG Pseudo Sue. Others aren't even close. No, not even ZD.

    Daisy Cutter

The Tampa area has some really good session IPAs some might call Pale Ales....Like Cycle Fixie and Freewheel which are awesome. 7venth Sun Time Bomb and Intergalactic are very good as well.

I've tried dozens, including all of the locally made ones in my home state...Sierra Nevada's is still the best. By far.

    Favorite:
    Victory Harvest Ale

    Runners Up:
Marshall Wharf Ace Hole, if very, very fresh
The Maine Beer Co entries: Peeper, MO and Tiny Beautiful Something with the caveat that they are over priced, MO & TBS especially
    Indeed Day Tripper
    Victory Headwaters

several others including New Glarus and Great Lakes would be a half step behind the above

I excluded Hill Farmstead Edward because it is too hard to obtain and 3 Floyds Zombie Dust because it is an IPA (albeit an excellent IPA) by any reasonable measure regardless of what the brewery calls it. I haven't had Pseudo Sue, Daisy Cutter or either of the Deschutes pale ales and I'm not all that impressed by Alpha King or Dale's.

    That I've had:

    1) Psuedo Sue
    2) Trillium FPPA
    3) Hill Farmstead Edward

I found Zombie Dust and Daisy Cutter below the above. ZD is a bit overrated IMO. Sierra Nevada still holds up against the above and is a staple.
