So far for me it was the Farmer's Cabinet Cellar Kegs event on Monday. The atmosphere was unreal and they had a good variety of really rare beers that went completely under the radar.

    Cheers

Hill Farmstead at Teresa's. Tons of beers from one the best brewer's in the world and I had a prime bar seat.

also, any event that did not involve me eating an entire cherry pie to try and win beer.
    finally time to sleep.

Today at Capone's for leftovers and room to actually drink my beer in peace.

    Runners up-
    1. Had 2 very nice stops at Barcade for some gems and Arcade fun
    2. Teresa's for Hill Farmstead. Great people, great beer, excellent service and a bar stool
    3. Leftovers at the Monk's Russian River/Sierra Nevada event and watching Vinnie, Ken and Company take down two cases of Orval and getting sauced.

Teresa's Hill Farmstead event. Great beer, great people & very well run.

Runner up would be Funky Buddha at Woody's. Never would I have imagined drinking Maple Bacon Coffee Porter and PiƱa Colada Wheat on tap in total peace.

am i the only one that went to Hill Farmstead at Boilermaker? Same draft list as TND, and hella lot less mobbed - especially since they put the beers on early. I wasn't even there for the listed time, had every beer before then and peaced out.

Those of us who got to TND at 11:30 when they opened got to drink all but five of the beers while it was relatively empty (they waited until one to tap Edward, Abner, Society & Solitude #2 and #3 and Citra). It got pretty crazy after 1 though. I did stick around to get the Society and Solitude's and Citra.

I went after work but didn't arrive until 11:45. It was pretty packed and Abner, S&S3, What is Enlightenment?, Edward and Citra were all kicked. Got to try everything else.

ah. i got there around 7pm and they were all already tapped and on. we walked right upstairs and got seats at the bar. guess i was lucky. they did the same for mckenzies/tired hands, too. all the beers were on early. love it.

My favorite event by far was De Molen at Monk's. So many great beers at only $5 a pour. I doubt that I'll ever see most of those beers again.

I am with you on this Craig. I think De Molen/Monk's Rook & Leer was the best beer of Beer Week. The speyside barrel Mooi & Meedogenloos was quite nice too. Other highlights were the Farmers Cabinet 3x8 event was stellar (the whole set of Stillwater Rariteas were nice, the Sungasms I had were also tasty); Hill Farmstead/Tired Hands at Boilermaker was a nice opportunity to taste a bunch of HF's I haven't had yet; and since Devils Den had Tilquin queuze on tap, that automatically became a worthwhile event.

I drove up from Baltimore like a bat out of hell to get to the HF event at Teresa's. Got there a bit before 1:00... just in time for the crush. Great beers and a great event, just wish it wasn't so crowded. However, I understand the concept of "cause and effect," so I knew what to expect when I got there. The beers were worth the aggravation...

As much as I have an appreciation for Shaun's beers, my mind was once again blown by just how good they really are. I had 6 beers I've never had before across 5 different styles and I would say 5 were absolutely amazing and the 6th (S&S #2) was "just" very good. I almost waited it out and was going to come Saturday at night when the dust cleared to drink up whatever hadn't kicked, but I'm glad I decided to come out early. Definitely worth it.

Bell's at Philadelphia Bar & restaurant. Had plenty of Black Note and 2010 Third Coast Old Ale. Delicious and much more relaxed than most of the other events I attended.

I think I have to agree with this. Last Snow as a runner-up, but R&L was one of the most unique beers I've ever had, and among the best.

I don't really have a favorite event. Every one I went to was pretty great in it's own way.
