One of my faves but I didn't mention it because I didn't "discover" it this year.

Yeah- I got their Sunshine Sampler mostly for the 1872 Lager (another winner, btw), and figured the other beers would be 'nice' and just keep things interesting. I still remember when I had that Pilsner for the first time, and it was way better than what I expected- it kind of felt like hitting the jackpot. I guess that's why we do what we do, trying new breweries and all that (well, old ones in this case ), those kinds of moments make it all worth while.

I hope they do the same thing next year- I'm definitely down for another case if they do.

I think you'll see it again. (There's been some new things going on there the last couple of years.)

I enjoyed them all but my fav was the Hefeweizen.

This post makes me feel really lucky with the Pilsners I can get. I don't drink a ton of Pils but everyone of the beers you listed that I have tried is great and I would not pass up!

Sixpoint The Crisp has become my favorite pilsner and the one I return to the most. I recenlty had a SA Noble Pils after a long stretch without. Still dig it.

Mine was SN Summerfest by a long shot, though I'm not a huge Pils drinker and haven't diversified my Pils portfolio a great deal.

Honorable mention goes to Full Sail's LTD Series #3: Bohemian Pilsner. A really enjoyable Pils that's also priced right (often found for $6.50 a sixer). Full Sail is generally overlooked, but produces some solid lagers.

And now for an off-topic, opinionated rant: I think OB Mamas Lil Yella really stinks, and OB could do much better.

I will second the SN Beer Camp Torpedo Pils love. It is the reason I am currently exploring the style again. So far after that one the Victory Prima Pils has been my favorite.
