The best pumpkin beer I had last year was Fresh Patch by Wormtown brewing in Worcester MA. Real pumpkin flavor without all the overpowering spices. Tasted the way a pumpkin Ale should. Not a damn pumpkin pie.

Wasatch Brewery had a pretty tasty Pumpkin Ale at one time.

    Cheers!

    The Fear - Flying Dog
Devious - Fegley's Brew Works (still waiting for bottles to hit the local market)
Oak Jacked - Uinta (Just learned it was retired as of 2015...what a shame)

Oak Jacked Imperial Pumpkin Ale | Uinta Brewing Company

Thanks goes out to pokesbeerdude for this brew.

    750ml
    Caged/Corked
    Bottled On: 09/07/2011

Poured into a chalice a nice deep reddish/amber color, nice carbonation, with a nice little fizzy off-white head, with some minimal sticky lacing left behind. The nose is mostly malty, with some nice cinammon, nutmeg, clove notes. The taste is malty, slightly bitter, pretty close to a pumpkin pie, very slight oak notes. Medium body, ABV hidden very well. Overall a pretty tasty brew for over a year old. This brew was very very hard to get in Utah, considering the fucking place is about 30 miles from my house. This is not the first time Uinta has fucked up getting brew's to people here in Utah/SLC. They seem to care more about getting beers outside of Utah for the last couple of years. Not very cool. Thanks Chuck for hooking me up!

    Cheers!

Elysian Night Owl and Lancaster Baked Pumpkin Ale were my favorites from last year. Stevens Point Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale was up there too.

This year, I picked up 4/6 packs of:

    Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale
    Southern Tier Pumking
    Southern Tier Warlock
    Lancaster Baked Pumpkin Ale
Evil Genius Trick or Treat Chocolate Pumpkin Porter

I will report back once it actually cools off here and feels like pumpkin beer drinking weather.

Saint Arnold Pumpkinator can hang with the best out there. It's right next to Good Gourd for me.

    Non-barrel aged: Schlafly Pumpkin Ale

Barrel aged: Bottle Logic Picture If You Will

I wish Schlafly was distributed to Southern California. That would be a fall staple for me.

Not a huge fan of pumpkin beers. I usually have 1,or 2 then I'm done for the season. However Two Roads Roadsmary's Baby is pretty damn good.

My personal favorite is Black Market's Superstition. It possesses this wonderful squashy quality along with a nice pie-crust sweetness and mild spices. My two runner-ups are DFH and Smuttynose.

My favorite is definitely CCB Good Gourd, had to grab a few of those bombers before they vanished. Considering the difficulty in acquiring Good Gourd my go to would have to be Pumking. Looking forward to trying Pumpkinator this year.
