Prearis makes a few different barrel offerings. Draft and Vessel in Milwaukee was just pouring an Ardbeg aged and a Jack Daniels aged quad from them. Both very good!

    Other BA Quads/Strong Darks:

    Straffe Hendrik Heritage
    La Trappe Oak Aged Quad
    Scaldis Prestige/Prestige de Nuits
    Pannepot Reserva/Grand Reserva
    De Dolle Oerbier Reserva
Gulden Draak Brewmaster's Reserve (very much on the blonde end of the quad spectrum)
Alvinne Oak Aged Balthazar and various Cuvees

Probably some others I can't think of right now.

I was fortunate enough for my girlfriend to bring a bottle of westy 12 back from Amsterdam. I was thoroughly impressed and had been waiting forever to try this one after having all those available to me in Minnesota.

Elevation False summit definitely more American than Belgian but one of my favorites and at 12-14 bucks for a 750ml out here a bargain.

Rochefort 10 is one of my all time favorite beers. Make sure you sip that stuff from a chalice tho

Rochefort 10 is my fav far and away.

That said, I've never had Westy 12.

Yeah Sixth Glass is my regular drinker when I just need that quad fix, I used to be able to get it for like 9 dollars a 4 pack at Meijer. Rochefort and St. Bernardus are the rare treats.

I already have that one but haven't tried it yet. I took a very fruitful pilgrimage to The Lost Abbey during my last trip to SD.

Just recently bought this one but haven't tried it yet. I had their Stoneybrook Red and liked it a lot.

Avery dropped a BBA quintuple a few months back called 5 monks. I really really REALLY wish I had bought more of that beer. It was just amazing.

Agreed. I haven't had it in several years, but I used to drink it quite often. Nice quad with decent distribution.

Remember the glassware for your quads. I like the Chimay chalice myself. Perfect size for the beer and head. Plus you look like a boss sipping a big quad out of it
