I still can't stand Boiler Room, I just think it is a bad beer.

At the SA tap take over they did at Poison Girl they had syrups there and the syrups made it tolerable but it still didn't impress me and I still tasted garbage on the back end.

    1809 is great.

Real Ale White is 4.6 percent and delicious.

I'd say Karbach Weisse Versa but it comes in at 5.3

Had Lakewood Lager on tap last night while in Mesquite, Tx and it was a nice beer and easy drinking. Comes in at 4.6 percent.

I do like Boiler Room, though being only in the bombers, I haven't bought it much.

I tried Rocket Fuel when it first came out and didn't care for it at all. I finally revisited it over the weekend and am happy to report that it's now a very good beer, eminently crushable, and worlds away from the initial release. Will become a regular for me.

I have found this to be true for most of 8th Wonder's beers. Happy to see their beers improve, as their brewery tastings/tours have a really good atmosphere (and they are the closest brewery to my house)

I feel like the brewery isn't talked about as much as it should be and prefer their beers to most of the other Houston breweries.

But I might be biased because one of the owners was my professor and advisor for what is now pretty much a failed homebrew club for the university.

Aside from all the previously mentioned stuff, I used to crush some Fancy Lawnmower on the hotter summer days. Also enjoyed the Rye Pils from Deep Ellum.

Along those lines....I like Shiner Wild Hare. Think it is a little over 5% but definitely would consider it sessionable.
