Glad this one got better. It was a bit of a mess early on.

    Bourbon Aphasia
    Dirty Bird
    Bourbon Huma
    Spruce Pilsner
    Key Lime Pie
    Bourbon Black Cherry Porter
    Strawberry Shorts Cake
    Anniversary Ale
    Goodnight Bodacious
    Bludgeon Yer Eye

Bludgeon is waiting for Hopstache to knock it out.

I know everyone hates Spruce Pils, but I absolutely love that beer. One of the best palate wreckers I have ever had.

Btw, leaving Freedom and Aww Jeah off the list hurt. Too many great brews.

Like others here, can not possibly pick just one:

Spruce pils - Strange enough this beer got my wife to start exploring craft beer with me
Bourbon Dirty Bird - Unlike anything else I've ever tasted.
Freedom of 78 - Top 3 favorite beers of last summer
Ale la Rev - Picked some up the day after I got married last year. Memorable and tasty!
Cup of Joe - Best coffee beer around...period
Kind Ale - My favorite wet-hopped ale last year

I could keep going but those definitely top my list.

Sticky Icky Icky and Bourbon Woodmaster both stand out as ones I've enjoyed recently. Very hard to go wrong with most of Short's stuff though.

I am also extremely sad to see this off the schedule for 2014. I'm really hoping we brew a batch in Bellaire, for I would gladly make the drive specifically for that it.

Does Shorts get good distro on the west side of the state? I used to live in Ann Arbor and while I was there developed quite the taste for Shorts. I was thinking about FIB'ing it over to MI next month to pick up the regulars, easier than trading for multiple six packs, but I'm not sure how the distro is over there. Can anyone give me some pointers?

What is a regular shorts release that does not focus on hops? I hate the taste hops and seems to be the only type of beer I can get by them in houghton. We got the new v3 sample box with stouts and the ginger beer but holding off on buying it so far

Yes, we essentially get excellent distribution all around Michigan. My advice (if coming from 94) is to go straight to New Buffalo and hit up Barney's, New Buffalo Pharmacy, and Bud & Elsie's. That should provide you with just about everything we produce. I believe all Meijer's in Michigan carry our flagships/current seasonal, too.

Bellaire Brown. January will bring out some more malty specialty releases including Empress Catherine and Publican Porter. The v3 variety pack is a decent package, as well.

Variety 3.0 is worth it for the Mystery Stout alone. Black diamond was a mighty tasty lager as well.

That would be Pig Pen -- I don't think it's after the Grateful Dead member, but it would be cool if it was.
