Since you're not canning Apollo this year will you have a new canned summer seasonal?

my intro to sixpoint was the Brownstone in 2010 when I was traveling to NY regularly for business and the hotel I stayed at had it as one of four taps. Love the style anyway, and this was particularly strong. Since then I've tried another half dozen or so from them and particularly liked the Global Warmer and, of course, 3 Beans which I found out recently ages incredibly well. Sadly, that was my last one and now I must begin the campaign to bring it back. Finally, picked up my first Hi-Res the other day, but haven't tried it yet.....check back later this week!

I like the idea :-) but only if they're priced right. I'd pay up to about $3.50 a can if we operate on the assumption of $9 four packs. If it is more expensive, then I would only want something that more justifies the cost. And then you should wax the can ;-)

My intro to Sixpoint was Timeout For Porter at Blind Tiger on a NYC visit in Feb 2011. Although I think we left Blind Tiger as we got there too late to not have a seat facing into a ton of people.

Hi Res is my favorite. Righteous Rye is a close second.

As previously disclosed, it is being "brought back" this year as a draft-only offering. Its currently cellaring nicely in JD Willet Bourbon Barrels, to be racked soon...

It is a great DIPA, but no doubt I can taste the alcohol. However, it is a high alcohol DIPA and I expect to taste it, I want to taste it. Great beer.

Mmmmmm. Otis is probably the best I've had. Wish that stuff was canned/bottled for me to bring home. Bourbon barrel aged sounds divine.

Meanwhile, I see Bolshoi is on tap near me, so I'll head over during lunch to try it for the first time. Love me some imperial stouts. I hope it's not kicked...

Bottling that stuff again any time soon?

I believe you're making an error though. Their usual four packs are still four 12oz cans. Albeit, tall, slim, cool cans. But 12 oz. nonetheless.

That's not true. As he said the "usual 16oz can beers (crisp, sweet action, etc)" are our core beers, and they are currently offered as a 4pack of 16oz cans. Only the Resin, Hi-Res, Global Warmer, and 3Beans were in 12oz cans.

What we are contemplating is releasing a six-pack of 12oz cans for ALL of our core flavors (Sweet Action, Crisp, Bengali, etc).

You heard it here first! :-)

That makes total sense. Because the Sixpoints I have purchased are indeed, Resin, Global Warmer, 3Beans, and Hi-Res! Lol. I have never purchased The Crisp or Sweet Action.

Resin, Hi-Res, Bengali, and the spice of life series are all decent. Otis is good stuff. I like trying the mad scientist series, but yeah that smoked cheese one was (as advertised) NOT for the faint of heart. I've liked a lot, but not much got love. 3beans = love. So good. I swear I saw it on a shelf recently... I thought it was this years batch, but little did I know that it wasnt reproduced. Excuse me while I run back to that store.

Will that BBA 3beans come to CT? I'm gonna hit up the bar managers in the New Haven area and beg them to get some, hell or high water.
