Have you broke it down on a price per ounce? That is the only thing that ultimately matters, as you should know.

Also, the $15 is NYC only. Only the strong survive here. ;-)

Sixpoint invented that style. It created that category.

That is entry level arithmetic. Might require some long division though. ;-)

since you are so active in this thread, why don't you do me the favor of doing the math for me? how does it compare to your other styles? whats the business logic in it?

Call me crazy but I don't think any of them are out of line. I am quick to say something is overpriced but they are all reasonable to me. I'd prefer to see The Crisp a touch lower but I am a pilsner lover and would pay it.

OK, with all of this crazy arithmetic, I'm going to say it simply: I like paying <$10. I know I am getting less than 6 beers, and the price per ounce is about a penny higher, but I am paying less in the moment. Beer typically isnt a long term investment. When I go to the store with $20 and have a choice, I'd rather get what still allows me to afford a taco bell grande meal later on....

Exactly, there is a huge discrepancy in price at retail but that is not due to our actions - it is the actions of the retailer. The MSRP for NJ is $8.99-$9.99 depending on the flavor. Certain one-offs like Hi-Res should be $11.99

They should routinely be $9.99 or less with the exception being NYC, where markups tend to be much higher.

what is your point? You listed the prices of their beer and you can clearly see that the Resin costs more, seeing as its only 12 ounce cans and not 16 ounce cans. I fail to see the problem with that. Almost every single brewery offers beer in difference price ranges, based on cost, availability, etc.

So your issue is that you feel stiffed somehow because Sixpoint is trying to "pull a fast one" on us by selling the Resin in 12 ounce cans at the same price as other 16 ounce cans?

Have you also taken up that point with Victory who sells some beer in 4 packs and some in 6 packs for the same prices?

no, I was pointing out the majority is all priced the same per ounce. The ipa is priced the same as the cream ale, priced the same as the pilsner.

Are you implying that the Sweet Action or Crisp should be priced lower than the Righteous Ale, Bengali Tiger, Brownstone?
