Resin was out of stock at the beverage center so I'll have to wait another day for that one.
Picked up the Global Warmer instead.
It's pretty good, but lots of little floaties. Not sure if that's normal. I won't let it stop me from enjoying it.
I suppose that's what I get for waiting to try it a week out from when it says to drink it by.

    Cheers!

    Ok, Hi-Res. Hands down.

Now if Sixpoint wants to impress me can guerrilla warfare. Or impress me with a English Barleywine or doppelbock:wink: .

I was luck enough to work at a place that had access to these obscurities. I'm living in Oregon now so I haven't been able to try any of the new stuff. When I back visiting the folks I will be sure to pick some up.

Have you tried the Old Redhooker?

Live in Oregon now? That's too bad. There's NO craft beer out there. ;-)

Seriously though, keep an eye out for us at the Oregon Craft Brewer's Festival this year!

Have you tried the entire lineup?

I worked at a (Brooklyn) restaurant a few years ago and the only non-macro tap handle we had was for Six-Point beers. Sweet Action and Bengali Tiger played a big role in opening my taste buds to greater possibilities. Nowadays, it's a close call between Global Warmer, Resin and Hi-Res for me.

I haven't tried Apollo but it's on the list. I still have to make my way around to Meatball Shop and other places that have exclusive Six-Point offerings. The events tend to happen when I work (weekends).

I have not, I suspect it has not made it to Indiana. If you send me some, I will be happy to write a review.

got to try the Bengali Tiger yesterday and I'm enjoying a Resin now, both for the first time.
Out of the Sixpoint brews I've tried I'd go, Crisp, Resin, Global Warmer, Sweet Action.
I'll have to pick up the Righteous Ale next to see where it falls in line.

Some resin just made it to my wegman's fresh as can be. I have bought it twice already and going back for a third I am sure of it.

No, didn't get a chance to try the Hi-Res.
Pretty sure it's all gone here, at least at the places I go. So I'll be on the look-out for it next year.

Having known nothing about the brewery until I read this thread, for whatever reason I had super high expectations for them. Since they are not distributed in SWPA, I got a case of Hi-Res back home. While I was initially let down by it (very sweet and kind of hot), the more I drank of it, the more I liked it. I won't say I LOVE it but I do really enjoy it. I quickly learned that 3 is my limit in a sitting. I am happy that they are coming to SWPA now and I am really excited to try some of their other stuff. Resin and Bengali Tiger are on my list but the one I am most looking forward to is The Crisp. I am a sucker for a good pilsner.

Hi Res is the most recent I've had (thanks @SammyJaxxxx). It was a little boozy to me. And Bengali Tiger just wasn't particularly memorable to my palate.

That said, I really liked Resin, Righteous and The Crisp

So when will you be distributing to Missouri? I see you're only one state over (if SeekABrew is correct) now...

needNEEDneed to try Gorilla and 3Bean, but from what I've had, both Global and Resin are stupendous .... while I also must say that HiRes was not my personal cup of tea, but that's a style bias on my part, and also the rest of the regular lineup are quite good but not worth the price point, from my Upstate NY point of view, honest.

Hi-Res is fantastic. I found I liked it more the fresher it was. I let 2 cans age for almost 2 months and it mellowed in citrus and hop a lot. Such a great brew.

Some of these questions asked on BA are like asking who's your favorite kid. It can be answered but its tough ya know?? That being said I dont have any kids, I drink too much. Sweet action is my favorite followed by Tiger.
