I really want to get behind Sixpoint, but every time I'm about to pick up a box from them, I get so damned confused by their dating system. So I give up and go to any number of other products on the shelf that don't require a magic decoder ring.

Though not preferred, even the Julian dating system kicks the crap out of the best by option that Sixpoint uses. Please please please @Sixpoint talk to your management about package dating, and using a system that actually makes sense to the average lazy American who cares about fresh beer but doesn't want to break out a cell phone to look up obscure can codes. "Packaged on" dating is a great thing.

4Beans makes me moist in the nether region. What a stunner that one was.

I like the Bengali. Haven't tried the Hi-Res--can't find it, and 4Bean I just saw just recently. First six of Bengali was mint. All subsequent ones ranged from so-so to ass. Even another one purchased from the same guy as the first. Never checked the date on that one, but the later ones are dated june and july '16.

Sweet Action. I rarely pass on it. And it's one of the few craft brews regularly offered at Madison Square Garden. Kinda important when you are a Ranger season ticket holder.

did you get a chance to try 4Beans? How does it compare to the Gorilla Warfare in your opinion?

fwiw, Hi-Res will be making a comeback to CT in January 2016

Hope we can get some of those mix-packs your way! They'll be hitting Florida in two weeks... @fhyden

where are you in Wisconsin? We do have limited distribution there...

try aging it in the fridge...seems to work better for porters vs. cellar temps (according to some tests we've done)
we are looking into this - thanks for the feedback

this post just violated our NFSW guidelines at Sixpoint :-)

there is no way this should happen, unless the product was mishandled somewhere in the supply chain. Reach out to us personally if the problem persists, thanks

growing love for that SA - one of the original brews!

The Resin--in a break pack of extras from a local distributor, I got one for 99 cents... Yeah, that was the best 99 cents I spent in a LONG time!

i've enjoyed all of their core beers: Bengali, Resin, Sweet Action, Crisp as well as Jammer, Hi-Res, 4Beans.

The fact that I can get all of their beers regularly is fantastic but I enjoy Bengali very much. i like all of their beers and i blame their Mad Science

And now we only do wet hops, as per the Sensi. Have you tried that one yet?

Resin came before Hi-Res. Did you try Resin first?

    Cask or draft?

    You are the man.

    Ever try 3Beans?

You are lucky....Resin usually goes for about $11.99 for a sixer, or more...

    hell yeah Jersey BOY

    ever have the 5Beans? ;-)
