Ever since turning 21, Sixpoint has been my go-to brewery. Resin is my favorite readily-available DIPA, and I'm in heaven when I can find any of the Spice of Life's on tap. Bengali Tiger is damn enjoyable too, and was my first beer purchased at Madison Square Garden. Thanks, Sixpoint.

Hi-Res at this point, but I really enjoy fresh Begali Tiger.

Haven't had nearly all of them, but I thought The Crisp was a great pilsner.

Love me some Resin. I wish it was still available in Michigan.

Bengali is good if its not old.

Never tried sweet action, its hard to justify buying a cream ale for $10.99 or $11.99 (4 16oz)

AGREED!!! The cans from LION are terrible. I honestly (and I'm not trolling here, I promise) don't understand how anyone can drink those things. Diacetyl, DMS, and other off flavors in EVERY single batch.

Ask the gentleman that founded Barrier why they left. They'll tell you what's up.

You are clearly trolling here and lost all credibility when you say there is "diacetyl, DMS, and other off flavors in EVERY single batch."

If that were the case Sixpoint would cease to exist, instead of growing steadily and winning awards for their beers.

Honestly it sounds great, but I don't want to chase down another "limited" beer. I said it in another thread and the response here seems to support what I said, bring back 3beans even if it's a regular seasonal.

    No particular order:

    3 Beans
    Resin
    Hi-Res
    Bengali Tiger

3 Beans aged on oak ... waiting for a Bourbon Barrel Aged version instead ... could be sickness in a can ... 'jess sayin'.:wink:

We're not ruling it out as a possibility for the future - just no plans at this point for anything more than a limited draft release this year.

Their beers never let me down, I don't care which one. I buy them with good faith that the beer is going to be solid, and typically it is that. Sometimes it's great...Apollo, Righteous Ale, Global Warmer, Hi-Res...etc. Great brewery their recent google hangouts videos prove their credibility as true craft brewers being contract at Wilkes-Barre, Lion Brewery in PA doesn't bother me a bit. Penn Brewery was contracted there for one year, the brewery almost went out of business, Sixpoint cans have been contracted there since day one, the brewery does nothing but grow. They are using quality ingredients and great recipes despite how Lion brews their on Lionshead lager or how bad they fucked up the Penn lineup, they are clearly taking a different approach with the Sixpoint beers. Honest to God get over it, they are a successful contract brewed brewery that will eventually be canning their own with the growth that has happened thus far!

Lucky enough to live in NYC and get to try most of the draft releases. My favorites are Old Redhooker, Mad Scientist 14 Gratzer and Gorilla Warfare.
