Just picked up a four pack of Bengal yesterday. I was surprised to see it at my local grocer. It's has now become my favorite Sixpoint beer. Everything I look for in an IPA. My only complaint is that it does not come in a 12 pack. :slight_frown:

One of my new favorite beers this year.

I'm drinking a 4 beans right now. It is amazing. Highly recommend opening now.

I really, really like Sensi 2015! 4Beans is pretty good too, but I feel it's missing something (probably barrel aging ;-)).

    Thank you kindly. Two notes:

    1. Was that a typo and did you mean six pack? If it was a four pack, please let us know ASAP.
    2. Bengali does come in a 12 pack, it just travels with a few other friends inside...

Resin. With 4 Beans in 2nd place. This years Sensi was very good, also.

My mistake. It was a six pack I purchased. I'll have to seek out that 12 pack!

Sixpoint is fairly new to Iowa, especially my area. Thus far I've only had sweet action, which was phenomenal.

Distro here might be somewhat limited. We just started getting Sixpoint not too long ago, and the only ones I've seen so far are 4Beans, The Crisp, Sweet Action, Bengali, and Resin. I've tried the first four, and they were all outstanding. I'd love to try Hi-Res, Sensi, Jammer, and anything else I haven't seen here yet.

I have some Resin, which I am saving for NBS.

I really liked (Mr.) Brownstone, righteous rye, and bengali from the start. When they started to go with the small cans, I LOVED the Resin, and then Global warmer (although the last time I had it was an unfortunate last beer of the night at 2 am decision) & Hi Res. The Jammer was my go to beachfront beer in Old Saybrook last summer, so hopefully more Jammer will make it to that area next year, too! Not a darker beer guy in general, but the 4 beans is nice.
I like that they have great beers you can find regularly for every season. The only ones I didn't like were the Abigale, RAD (even though I love the name), and Apollo.

Ok bro - you asked, so its going to be the C.R.E.A.M. and 5Beans (more info on that later) - cheers

were you able to track one of those down?

did you get to try any others? If so, what did you think of the Resin? So far, we have been hearing it has been going over quite well in your state....cheers

Global Warmer is back, and as of last week it had distribution throughout all of MA. You will see Jammer again next summer as well.

    cheers

I've gotten my hands on The Crisp and Resin. Both were very good. Resin doesn't stay on shelves here very long at all, and I can taste why. I saw Global Warmer on shelves recently, and definitely plan to pick some up soon.

I was in NY on vacation and grabbed a slim can of Resin is a mix 6. It was the BOMB. Ended up bringing 4 6'ers back home to Idaho with me. If we got Sixpoint out here, I'd be buying up everything you sent out here. I'm open to you guys just shipping a few cases straight to my doorstep, if you're so inclined. :grinning:D

I posted a NBS review on Resin a while back. My rating:
    4.01/5 rDev -1.2%
    look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

    NBS post:

Nicely balanced, not overly hoppy as I was expecting based on the name. I thought it would pair nicely with a variety of cuisines and would probably consider it a "food beer" on that basis. (That's just me, though. YMMV.)

I also tried Sensi Harvest 2015. My rating:
    4.29/5 rDev +7.3%
    look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

Global Warmer just arrived here. I have not tried this yet, but I will soon. I'm still hoping to get a crack at Hi-Res and Jammer at some point. Oh, and 5Beans. 5Beans!!

I really enjoy Global Warmer, but 4 Beans has been my favorite. Before that it was 3 Beans.

I've tasted two, Resin and 4Beans, Resin is a nice pine needle bomb, very tasty, too bad I can't get in southern CA.
