Favorite Sixpoint Brew

Jammer 3.0 in a month. Stoked!

 

Diesel is my personal favorite (I remember slamming a few cans at my parents house on the shore the night Sandy hit.....was a crazy evening for sure) but I haven't been back East in years now. A really roasty, hoppy stout but drinkable. Autumnation was a great beer too. Can't wait to get more when I come back east.

 

I've only had Resin but it was fantastic. I really like the cans that they use for some reason. Not sure why.

 

Roughly in order:

Hi-Res
Resin
Bengali
Sensi
Global Warmer

...but they're all good!

Resin, so far, but I just got some Hi-Res, CREAM, and Global Warmer to try.

 

My favorite so far has been Sweet Action, but none of them have disappointed me. Need to try more!

Two years later I'm changing my vote to The Crisp. Is the only Six-Point brew to make reappearances in my fridge.

 

Now that their distro has hit SF, I've had a chance to try two:

Puff - In a can. Quite an enjoyable DIPA, with a blast of citrus aromas and flavors. There is bitterness, but it tastes more like rind/pith.

Resin - On draught. Since I had this a few days later, it tasted like what a "clear Puff" would taste like. (Yes I know, Puff = Unfiltered Resin). But strangely, it ran out its welcome before I hit half the glass. I started to taste more of the alcohol. Maybe it was the warming, but I didn't really want another sip.

 

Enjoyed my first Tesla but I think Crisp is my favorite (or 4 Beans or Resin) but damn it when is 5 Beans coming out???

 

Dig Hi Res and Crisp. Wish they would send more this way.

 

4 Beans, Puff, and Bengali

 

Gonna have To go with 4beans And hi res of course. Sad I never got the chance to taste 3beans as many say it was much better than 4. Which I would find incredible

 

May or may not have already replied to this thread, but Hi-res is top of my list. Also enjoy Jammer and Sweet Action, a great cooler weather beer, which we have yet to see in Maine this year unfortunately. Tesla was good, need to try more before it's gone. Wish we got some of the smaller releases up here but then they probably wouldn't be smaller releases would they?

 

For me it's Puff. Haven't had hi res yet.
