I kinda thought about that but...

My wife has recently 'laid down the law' and I am soon to be banished from the kitchen refrigerator so between now and Christmas I will be buying me a Christmas present of a second refrigerator for the basement dedicated to beer. I suppose that is a first step to creating a man cave? I will have beer downstairs and I have a bathroom (powder room) down there already so all I need now is some chips and pretzels?

    Cheers!

...and some fancy cheese. Also, you don't really need a man cave, but you have to have another fridge, dedicated to beer.

I think before last week, I would have maybe said Abigale... That was one I really enjoyed. Of course Resin and all those are solid, but the BBA 3Beans was incredible. Easily my favorite Sixpoint brew to date... However, wonder how it will stand up to the 4/5 bean variants that I now have in my procession... We shall see!

These days I'm leaning back and forth between the revamped 5Beans and Smoothie. The former is a deliciously intricate beer and I really dig the port character. The latter just hits all the right notes for a NEIPA for me -- hazy, but not turbid; fantastic aroma and scent that includes both the tropical fruit notes you expect, plus some of the dank/onion that helps to balance it out and keep it a beer rather than a juice-substitute.
