I prefer 750ml bottles because they hold more beer than your average container.

For some reason I love a bomber.... BUT I infrequently see 16 oz cans, if they were more available they might be my favorite.

I will have to go with the 12oz bottle especially if I'm not sharing. Sometimes I just don't have enough time to sip on the larger bottle sizes especially if it is a so called "big beer".

I usually drink beer with a sit down meal, and I find I've got to nurse 12oz (can, bottle, whatever) to get it to last to the end of the meal. 16oz (or 16.9oz/half liter) of beer is the perfect size.

I voted 12 ounce bottle, but 12 ounce can would be fine also. I think 12 ounces is the perfect amount, all else kept equal (price per ounce for example). I'd rather have the option to open 2 rather than open a bomber or 750. I just drank a 16.9 ounce bottle of Lunch, that wasn't bad either. I just find bombers and 750s to be annoying when I'm not trying to drink a lot and I just want to have one.

I voted for 12oz bottle, but could have voted for 12oz can just as easily. I hate 22s (750s are OK for some of the bigger Belgians, like Three Philosophers) but 16oz cans get too warm, too quickly. Plus, I can hide a 12oz can in my hand as I walk around, my mitts aren't big enough to hide a tall boy. :grinning:

I have come to love 16oz cans. I can't even really say why; there's just something about them.

I do also like 500 mls bottle. That's the perfect size for Pliny or Blind Pig.

gotta love the 12 ounce bottles. They are fairly easy to finish, even at high ABVs and even with "special" beers they are generally priced reasonably per ounce.

That's true about the price and value of 12 ounce bottles in general. I can't really think of any 12 ounce that I have paid more than $7 for (things like ba blackout and bb4d). That equates to ~$13 a bomber which is pretty good for an awesome barrel aged beer.

love 16oz cans for sessionable beer, perfect size and you dont see nearly the up charge you do with the larger format bottles. Also great because you can take on the golf course or to the beach.

For larger beers I prefer 12 oz bottles
