Just wondering what everyone's favorite SMaSH recipes looked like. my roommates and I are looking to do one last batch before graduation and we'd like to do a simple, straightforward smash, but i have no idea where to start.

Maris Otter + Fuggles = Old Stock Ale, so that gets my vote.

German Pilsner Malt + Saaz = Pils
German Pilsner Malt + Hallertauer Mittlefruh = Pils
Marris Otter + EKG = Bitter

If you go with the bitter, take your first gallon of runnings and boil the crap out of it for a while seperately to reduce it down so you get some caramel flavors out of it. It works well!

Edit: Well, I guess I should pay more attention to the folks before me. Herrburgess mentioned the same ones I did. Looks like someone has good taste!

Favorite non-traditional combos that I've tried so far for SMaSH beers are:

Maris Otter & Northern Brewer w/ London Ale Yeast - Great for bitters at low gravity and barleywines at high. Great with Scottish Ale Yeast, too.

Belgian Pils & American "C" Hops w/ French Saison Yeast - Nice, bright and summery at low gravity, with an almost Belgo-IPA vibe at higher gravities.

Munich & Noble Hops w/ Clean-Fermenting Lager/Ale Yeast - In the vein of a bock, doppelbock, altbier, etc. depending on the gravity and IBUs.

A lot of Fuggles suggestions. What commercial beers have this hop that are readily available? Not sure if I've ever had a beer with it.

I assume that you fermented at normal Ale temps. Maybe a bit higher for a high gravity?
