Le terroir and Consecration were both unreal sours.

Where is Schell's from? I see you're a Minnesota person, I'm originally from there and could potentially ask my parents to find and ship it!

You can find it all over MN. It came out in June and was limited, but I still see it occasionally in the twin cities. They are releasing the raspberry version in 2-3 weeks (Framboise du nord)

    TMT,
Be sure to take GRG up on his offer. He is, without a doubt, the most generous person I've 'met' on Beer Advocate.

Havent had to many sours yet but had a 07 Hanssens Oudbeitje a bit ago and it was super sour and extremely funky, probably my favorite yet. Waiting for the right time for my cantillion bio gueuze

If you like sour stouts you have got to get your hands on some Funk Metal from Jester King. It is absolutely delicious.

I still can't quite come to terms with calling beer "sour." It's like lumping stouts, porters, quads etc. into one group and calling them dark beers. As tmrmwel demonstrated (by naming all the different types of "sour" beers), there are so many distinct styles that they really should not be lumped into one category. This being said, my favorite style is gueuze. Nothing beats the smell and flavor of a glass of Cantillon classic or 100% bio.
