    Favorite sour by style:

American Wild Ale: NG Unplugged Cranbic
Berliner Weisse: Burley Oak Sour Trip
Flanders Oud Bruin: NB La Folie
Flanders Red Ale: Rodenbach Caractere Rouge
Gueuze: HORALs Oude Geuze Mega Blend
    Lambic (Fruit): Allagash Coolship Red
Lambic (Unblended): Don't think I've had one.
Gose: None come to mind immediately. Not even sure if I've had one. Possibly Flying Dog's Gose. Is this considered

Also, perhaps a favorite brett beer (most likely a saison)?

Finally, is there anything out there like the Siren/Mikkeller/HF Limoncello IPA? Never had anything like it before. One of my favorite beers of the year. Very interesting.

    p.s. I can't believe there are only 15 Faros.

I went with American Wild. All the sours I have had have been, but it's the American Wild Ales that I've had that stick out in my mind as the "aww yeaah" beers.

Geueze and American Wild Ale. Sometimes, I like to pour geuze all over myself before going to bed. Amazing for your skin. AND your tastebuds!

I haven't had too many sours yet, but I'll share what I have. Voted Guezue for the favorite style. Sipping on an Oude Geuze Boon right now.

Based on how BA categories the styles:

    American Wild Ale:
    Boulevard Love Child #3
    Berliner Weisse: DFH Festina Peche
Flanders Oud Bruin: Petrus Aged Pale
Flanders Red Ale: Duchesse De Bourgogne
Gueuze: Oude Guezue Tilquin a L'Ancienne
    Lambic (Fruit): Lindemans Framboise
    Lambic (Unblended): n/a
Gose: n/a. Hoping to get my hands on a Westbrook soon.
    Brett Saison: Boulevard Saison-Brett

Westbrook Gose changed my life. Definitely need to trade for a dozen cans or so in the near future... so yum.

These are tops as of right now. Though I have a few beers in the cellar that may (and I'm hoping will) unseat some of the beers listed above.

Kriek seriously needs it's own category( fruit lambic just isn't the same). It's no secret. I am in love with the cherry!

I didn't answer the poll at first because I think sours are too wide-ranging and awesome to choose just one. Upon additional soul-searching, my pick would be American Wild ale simply because there are so many great options out there.
    • American Wild Ale: This style is far too varied for me to pick just one. Let's try a few: RR Supplication, NB Le Terroir, NB Tart Lychee, and Boulevard Love Child #3
    • Berliner Weisse: The Bruery Hottenroth (honorable mention to Justin Blåbær)
    • Flanders Oud Bruin: NB La Folie
    • Flanders Red Ale: Cascade Kriek (BA and Cascade call this a Flanders Red in spite of the name...)
    • Gueuze: Cantillon Classic (honorable mention to Tilquin)
    • Lambic (Fruit): Cantillon Kriek
    • Lambic (Unblended): N/A
    • Gose: Leipziger Gose (my exposure to the style is admittedly small) and an honorable mention to a local brewpub, McCoy's Public House, for producing a wonderfully-puckering take on the style this past summer. I hope they brew it again. The only other two I've had were Verloren (Sam Adams) and the very disappointing Hibiscus Gose from Widmer.

Just starting to like sours but Consecration blows away anything else I've had. Love Child #3 was pretty good too.
