My top 5 based on ratings:

    Hunahpu's
    Hunahpu's - California Brandy
    Mexican Cake - Apple Brandy
    Abraxas
    Mexican Cake - Jack Daniels

Let's not forget Mikeller/Jester King - Weasel Rodeo. Really nice blend of chili and smoke in both aroma and taste. To bad about the coffee they used though.

While not an stout, Texas Ranger is one of my favourites, perhaps because it's easier to get hold of here in Sweden

Then again, Mexican Cake and Bomb! are both really great. Depends on the mood I guess, whether it's something dryer or something smooth that I'm yearning for.

Had so few. Loved the 2 Bombs I got to try. Tried the Huna, but it was at a bottleshare & by that time my tastebuds were gone...

I will throw a little love to a not hard to get beer: Great Divide Chocolate Yeti...

    1. Abraxas - had it on nitro at a bar and it blew my mind. Never had it out of the bottle though...
    2. Hunahpus & AB Hunahpus - just a awesomely dark, immense, great beer! Then they put it in apple brandy barrels!
    3. Bomb! & Mexican Cake - these 2 were good, but tasted so similar that I'm grouping them together.

Haven't had the Imperial Biscotti variation yet.

This beer is over spiced. I could enjoy a bottle of Praire Bomb! on my own cause it's balanced and well made. Even at double the ABV (14%) it's still more balanced. The Copper Kettle stout is just too spicy to enjoy a pour of. Awesome label though.

Spicy is a relative term. I love to eat food that you could use to take paint off with. Habaneros... I put them on everything... do you think Mexican Chocolate Stout is too spicy for me? I tried Mexican Cake, Hunapuh, and Abraxas and felt the chiles didn't come through enough for me... I will be ISOing Copper Kettle's Mexican Chocolate Stout.

Exactly. I eat jalapenos raw with dinner, MCS is perfect for me, the chile doesn't get lost in the chocolate and cinnamon.

I love the CK Mexican Chocolate Stout. Some people think it's too spicy (understandably), but I can drink nearly an entire growler of it by myself.

One of my favorite styles, by far... I love pepper/spice in any base beer.

Given my proximity to Westbrook my sampling is skewed-

    Cab BA Mex Cake
    JD BA Mex Cake
    Mex Coffee Cake
    Decicco
    AB BA Mex Cake
    Reg Mex Cake

I have a Hanu and Brandy BA Hanu queued up for the holidays, but haven't tried either yet... looks like I need to track down some Bomb! and Abraxas as well!

I love this stout, too. Had it in a restaurant ... surprised the heck out of me. Will have one tonight or for Christmas!

Delicate barrel treatments seem to round out all the disparate flavors in these stouts.

I did an Italian beer tasting last month and this Verdi blew the crowd away! Add that we had a special catered dessert to pair with it!

I still prefer chocolate yeti. It's always well done, though I think it was a better beer before they toned down the cayenne a few years ago.
