What actually are Spring beer? Is it only spring seasonal or some particular style, as mentioned Maibock? Or is it only beer you like to drink spring?

While "Spring" in NorCal is a relative term, I love SNPA and Summerfest!

DFH 61 is a real interesting twist on IPA--I liked it but suspect it will be received like Aprihop: "love it or hate it"

    ADIPA

I'm going with Oberon. Some may say that it's lost quality when it's production was amped up. For me though, being a Michigander, the beer is tied to so many good spring and summer time memories. Give me Oberon and a seat at a Detroit Tigers game!

Odell's St. Lupulin; I checked Seekabrew and unfortunately you cannot get it in PA, but thought I would recommend it for anyone else reading this in the Odell's distribution footprint.

    • Abita Spring IPA (biggest surprise for me this year, and I've been pretty bored with the style too)
    • Captain Lawrence Sun Block
    • Professor Fritz Briem 1809 Berliner Weisse
    • Kona Big Wave (the ultimate session beer...not arsed one bit about the AB connection)
    • Victory Swing
    • Abita Strawberry Lager (awesome with spicy food)
    • Aventinus
    • SlyFox Pikeland Pils
    • Freigest Abraxxxas (smoked berliner....so cool)
