What are your favorite beer styles and do you gravitate towards them more depending on the season? Here's my list:

    Spring - Tripel
    Summer - White IPA
    Fall - Cider
Winter - Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts

I drink anything anytime, but on average I probably tend towards heavier styles in winter just because that's what breweries are releasing during that season. Lighter beers probably average more during the summer as well for the same reason.

    Spring-hefeweizen
    summer-session pale ale
    winter-IIPA, imperial stouts
There's really nothing for fall, I drink a few pumpkin beers in the fall but I dint look forward to it much. Also, I've recently been getting into Gose's, I think that will be one of my go to styles for late spring/early summer.

Winter is my favorite season, even though we don't have much of a winter in So Cal, and I enjoy stouts more often during the few winter cold months. The rest of the year I tend to drink IPAs and pale ales.
Yesterday was such a nice day to enjoy a stout, sunny 56 degrees, just great. So I drank Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin most of the day.

Spring - Bocks. Doesn't matter what kind.
Summer - Most light wheat beer styles (hefes, wits, etc.), pilseners, IPAs
Fall - Dunkel lagers, dunkelweizens, ambers, English pales/bitters. And I guess cider, too.
Winter - Stouts/Porters, especially imperial/BA ones or those with coffee, chocolate or smoked malts. Oh, and weizenbocks.

Not really a strict list (i.e. I don't only drink IPAs in the summer or stouts in the winter). I'll drink most of these styles year-round, but at certain times of year I definitely have a bias toward certain types of beer.

I have irreparably altered my taste buds/profile......

    Prefer thick/heavy year round....Imperials, Doubles, Triples (Stout/IPA)...

Psychology---if it less than 7% ABV...and is clear/thin in look and taste....I avoid it if at all possible

    my blessing....my curse

    Spring - Hefeweizen, American Wheat
    Summer - Witbier, Gose
Fall - Dunkel/Helles Lager, Marzen, Pumpkin, Porter
Winter - Doppelbock, Eisbock, Wee Heavy, Stouts (Reg. and Imp.)

IPAs are year round, but much less so between October-February.

One of my favorite things about living in a part of the country where there are seasons is drinking beers that go well with the weather. This is why I get enraged at distribution protocol that delivers fall beers in the heat of summer and Christmas beers before Halloween.

    Here are my favs:

Autumn (my favorite season) - oktoberfest, pumpkin & Scotch ale
Winter - Baltic porter, barleywine & double/impy stout
Spring - amber/red ale, black ale, & doppelbock
Summer - alt, DIPA & IPA

That said, I'll drink anything anytime if it interesting enough and I can get my hands on it.

There are certain styles (winter warmers & pumpkins come to mind) that it would be weird to drink out of season, but, other than those, I can't say I gravitate to particular styles based on seasons.

The colder the weather, the higher the gravity. Generally like darker beers during the shorter days as well.

Winter: stouts (all stouts), porters, barley wines, brown ales, amber lager/red ale, and schwarzbiers
Spring: IPA, pale ale, honey ale, cream ale, rye ale, dunkel lagers, alt, dunkelweizen, hefeweizen, bocks, and amber/red lagers/ales
Summer: kolsch, pils, alt, pale ale, IPA, saison, witbiers, blonde ales, white IPA, and hefeweizen
Autumn: brown ale (English and American), English mild, English bitter, cider, Irish red ale, amber ale/lager, alt, dry stout, Oktoberfest, schwarzbier, and dunkelweizen. This list is not myopic. I just find myself draw to these particular styles during each season.

There is a lot of seasonal crossover, overall. For example, February is winter-ish/spring-ish, and Sept./Oct. is summer-ish/autumn-ish (at least out in the desert Southwest).

I was really into Belgians last winter, but then I went on a summer IPA tour and lost my appetite for the yeasty stuff. Now that it's cold again, I'm steering back towards Belgians.
