I'm a sucker for some NB Sunshine Wheat. But, since I can't seem to readily get that in DC, I declare this the summer of Victory Summer Love and DC Brau Public

If I could actually get it here in Pittsburgh regularly, I'd be all over Gumballhead this time of the year...

I love IPAs even in the heat. A DIPA or imperial Stout when the Sun goes down. I will say Sam Adams Noble Pils will have a spot in my fridge for active hot days. Later week mowing the lawn 3 of those went down pretty darn fast. Light, crisp, and a just the right amount of flavor. Still my favorite Pilsner and I can get it in the dog days of summer now.

As much as I love a good IPA, the summer beer I always look forward to most is Abita's Strawberry Harvest. If I had a lawn, this would be my go-to beer for a relaxing post-mow. The same with their Pecan Harvest (a good Autumn beer.)

Headwaters and summer love from Victory.

    Perpetual IPA from Troegs

Although it is year round I find Red's Rye to be refreshing and delicious.

If I could get more of them I would also drink Lawnmower from St. Arnold and Hop Notch from Uinta.

Counting down the days until DFH Festina Peche hits the shelves... In the meantime I'm getting by on Anderson Valley Summer Solstice and Bell's Oberon... Though year round, I'm also enjoying some Unibroue Blanche de Chambly and Sierra Nevada Keller Weis...
