Favorite Tap Room

Love Odell. The great thing about Colorado, it's sunny over 300 days a year, and even some days during the winter it's pleasant enough outside. It depends on your perspective, but some of my relatives like to come here for Christmas to escape "da great white nort". I'd say the amount of miserable outside days are pretty seldom.

 

Core, but then again that's the only one ive been to

 

Town Hall is probably my favorite nice atmosphere there. Indeed is a close second.

 

Devil's Backbone Basecamp in VA - especially in the fall, gorgeous!

 

Black Back Pub in Waterbury Vt, 3 Penny Tap Room in Montpelier Vt, Pineville Tavern in Pineville Pa, for nostalgic value.

 

So far the caldera double hemp brown ale, very complex, bit bitter, a unique go

 

No particular order:

Troegs- You smell the hops as soon as you pull in. Nice little gift shop, tour if you want, plenty of taps, very good food as well
Jacks Abby - little gift shop, the original place had its charms, love what they have done with the new place, some great beers only to be sampled there ( 3x hopinius)
Great Lakes - great place and beers - took some customers there , both had to use the urinals downstairs . While attending to business, a guy staggers in , looks around, vomits and says, " sorry fellas..." we still get a chuckle out of that and raise a Christmas ale to that "pour" soul
Industrial Way - Allagash has the most stylish with a gift shop and coolers, but gotta love the proximity of Bissell Brothers & Foundation

Like Prohibition Pig but consider that a BrewPub and not a tap room

 

If you ever find yourself in Minneapolis, Bauhaus has a really cool taproom. Can't say that it's my top choice for beer though

I'm partial to American Wild Ales & Farmhouses, so Jester King and Russian River are probably my two faves. I am looking forward to the Oskar Blues brewery & taproom opening here in Austin, as I hear the one in Longmont is awesome.

 

I have been to Troegs and you are right. I love that taproom.
