Augustinerkeller? If that glass was in front of me, I reckon it would klast about two gulps.

Last time I was there I watched Italy knock England out of the European Championship. The Edelstoff was so nice I didn't really care.

If I wanted to split hairs, I'd say Edelstoff wasn't a Helles but a Spezial. Lovely beer, whatever you call it.

Perhaps we can compromise and call it a "Spring beer"?

Sounds good to me - but will the committee agree?

the hefe, pils, or Bud is a common choice for me. But one hot afternoon in August this past summer I had a Bliue Point Hoptical Illusion, and it was sensational. It was cool and it refreshed me, and needless to say, it made me feel like having another.

Thinking it over, is there such a thing as a thirst quencher by definition? Drink one and be done?

On a hot day and I want to chug a beer it's Miller Lite. I'm an IPA freak, but it's not lawn cutting stuff.

It could be a wit or a here...or a saison or simply an IPA does the trick sometimes.

German Pilsner, Munich Helles/Dunkel, or Wit.

Agreed. a six of Edelstoff was a great way to watch Euro 2012.

I drink water when I'm thirsty. No sense in running alcohol (a diuretic) through my system when I'm already low on fluids.
