I may be mistaken on the number of bottles in a case. I was told they got 120 bottles, regardless. The store is Central City Liquor Store.

I've tried the Wolf Vine, as well, and it's not even remotely close to the Sartori Harvest. Similar taste, being wet-hopped and all, but just nowhere near as "fresh" tasting. Bought one bottle and probably wouldn't buy another, whereas I'm trying to savour every last drop of the four Sartori Harvests I picked up. I've typically been underwhelmed by Hoyne beers (especially compared to the likes of Driftwood), so perhaps it's just me.

It's funny they *forced* you to buy the Harvest along with CBS. That's like being told you can go home with the hot chick at the bar, but you have to take her also-very-hot friend too.

Wet and Harvest are pretty much tied. Bonus is I can buy Harvest here.

I had my first and only wet-hopped beer the other night in FFF's Broo Doo. It is my highest rated beer on here currently. I eagerly await picking up some others. Is Surly Wet still around? I will be heading into Minnesota next week, so I'm curious. I also can't wait until our shelves here in Wisconsin get Harvest on them.

Is this Short's brew that good? I really haven't had any of their beers yet, so I don't really know what to think.

Last night I had a Heavy Handed IPA, I thought this one was very well done, a ton of hops in this one.

I just grabbed a 4-pack this morning from Woodman's in Kenosha, WI. It is behind the counter and the guy said it came in yesterday. Bottling date on neck is 10/4/12; $9.99+tax and limit of 1 4-pack per person. Appeared to be about 2 cases worth, fwiw...

Haven't had a ton but I'd take Surly Wet and Bell's Hopslam well over either of the Sierra Nevada fresh hopped brews.

That is ridiculous. I would have been getting as much Harvest as possible anyway, but pulling a "you have to also buy this to get that" is probably an unethical trick they learned from their distributor.

Also, it's nitpicking, but wet hop beers and fresh hop beers aren't necessarily the same thing. I think it would make sense to consider them all under the fresh hop umbrella, but "wet" is supposed to specifically mean un-dried hops. This is from SN's site describing Northern Hemisphere Harvest:
"These hops are harvested and shipped as “wet” un-dried hops—the same day they are picked—to our brewery in Chico where our brewers eagerly wait to get them into the brew kettle while their oils and resins are still at their peak."

Sierra Nevada Estate and Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere wet hop are my favorites. I have not had a chance to drink Founders Harvest as it is hard to find in MA. Also some notable fresh hop ales (dried but brewed immediately) include Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere (New Zealand Hops) Sierra Nevada Celebration (favorite beer hands down), and Great Divide Fresh Hop Ale

If anyone sees these in the near future at Julios Liquors in Westboro let me know..

SN Estate and Northern as well as Founders Harvest. I hope this hasn't hit Central IL already because last year this sold out just as fast as KBS. I should quit school and work and just live at my bottle shop so I never miss anything...

I also have a case and 2 Growlers of Troegs Scratch 78 Fresh Hop Ale coming my way this weekend. Very anxious to try it.

When I bought Pliny in Washington, they said I had to buy one of RRs other beers. With Consecration, Sanctification, and Supplication, I had already been planning on it.
