    FWIW- that's not a wheat beer; it's a pale marzen (a great style, and one that we don't see too much of). The word Wies'n, although similar, doesn't refer to the weizen style, but to the location of the Oktoberfest (an abbreviated form of Theresienwiess.) More info in this thread:

    Dunkelweizen- Weihenstephaner
    Kristallweizen- Weihenstephaner
    Weizenbock- Aventinus
    Wit- Hoegaarden
    American Pale Wheat- Oberon

    I've had 19 different hefeweizens, so I like to think I'm relatively experienced in that department, or enough so to confidently say that it doesn't get better than Weihenstephaner. Do yourself a favor and spend the $3.50 on a bottle.

    To that extent, I haven't had a Weihenstephaner beer I haven't liked. They make the best Kristallweizen you can buy (in my opinion) and their Dunkelweizen competes with Franziskaner for 1st place in my mind.

    I've had 5 wits, and though I rated Blanche de Bruxelles higher at the time, Hoegaarden takes first place for me now.

    I've only had 3 American pale wheats, but I like Oberon the best.

    As far as Weizenbock goes, Aventinus takes the cake. One of the best beers you can have.

    TLDR:
    I like wheat beers. Drink Weihenstephaner and Aventinus.

    Can't believe there aren't more votes for this. This IS the best Belgian White IMO. Another very nice one is Avery White Rascal...

    i know it shouldn't bother me that people are voicing their opinion. but lil sumpin sumpin is not a wheat beer. yes i know it calls itself that, because beers can call themselves whatever they want. but taste the damn beer. nothing about it's character would make one think of wheat beers, and that being the case, it shouldn't be considered one. calling it a wheat beer is like how netflix calls pirates of the carribean a comedy. not that it isnt a damn fine beer, of course
