Favorite Wit-Biers

    You know, I'm in Canada and I regularly go through very great lengths to import Allagash White. When all is said and done, sadly it costs me around to $6-$7 per bottle usually. Yeah, I like it *that* much. :sunglasses: Nothing else seems to compare...

    Came here to say this. That beer helped push me deeper into craft. My brother, a buddy and I went to visit a friend in Brooklyn years ago. We got into lots of fun and ended up at a bar that served Hitchino White for $4 a pint. We stayed until 5 AM, no joke.

    Allagash white for me. Celis White was a fantastic brew. Blanche De Chambly by Unibroue is very good. And Blanche De Brooklyn by Brooklyn Brewery was great on tap.

    Whiteout Wit is hands down my favorite American take on the style. You missed out OP.

    I really enjoyed Fantome's version! St. Bernardus Wit is also really tasty though.

    Allagash White is good, however my favorite Witbier is New Belgium's Mothership Wit

    Not a great example of the style but i really enjoy lost coast great white.

    I love the style and White Rascal might be my favorite. The Allagash is good too. Recently had the Wit from Pfriem Family brewers, and it was was top-notch as well.
